Other Manuals
Other Bank and Branch Manuals
As well as writing procedure manuals CSA also compiles and produce other manuals needed by banks and branches.Staff Handbook
This will inform staff of the bank/branch policy on employment and staff welfare matters and spell out for them rights which they have under local employment law. Included would be the policies and rules relating to attendance, conduct, maternity leave, benefits, health and safety, and so forth.Business Recovery Plan
The Business Recovery Plan sets out procedures and information that will help following a ‘disaster’ of some kind, a fire or flood, say, or even an unexpected economic or social problem. We can organise and produce the Plan and compile checklists and fact sheets that will be of practical value in an emergency.Job Descriptions
Job Descriptions are useful administrative tools. CSA compile job descriptions for all banking functions, using a combination of staff interviews and pro forma templates.Accounting Policies and Practices
Some banking supervisors require a manual setting out the bank’s accounting policies and practices, where these are not covered in the procedure manual. Included would be statements of the bank’s practices regarding record-keeping, vouchers, generated entries, currency revaluation, depreciation, investment valuations, accruals, provisions, and so forth. The content would be reviewed by the bank’s external accountants.Anti Money Laundering
For nearly all countries it is a requirement to set out clearly the bank’s policies and procedures to counter money laundering. If these are not incorporated into the general procedures manual, then a separate Anti Money Laundering manual will be required.Contact Us
